Irving Independence Day Parade Detour for Routes 408 and 549,
July 4, 8:45a-9:45a
During the Irving Independence Day Parade near the South Irving Station on Wednesday, July 4, bus routes 408 and 549 will be on temporary detour between 8:45 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. The parade will follow this route: start at Sowers, right on Irving Blvd., goes around Millennium Park, eastbound on Second St., left on Lucille, to a left on Irving Blvd.
Route 408 eastbound to Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station: from Irving Blvd., left on Rogers, right on Pioneer, right on O'Connor, left on Rock Island, into South Irving Station. From South Irving Station, right on Rock Island, right on O'Connor, right on Pioneer, right on Nursery, left on Irving Blvd.
Route 408 westbound to DFW: from Irving Blvd., right on Nursery, left on Pioneer, left on O'Connor, left on Rock Island to South Irving Station. From South Irving Station, right on Rock Island, right on O'Connor, left on Pioneer, left on Rogers, right on Irving Blvd.
Route 549 northbound to South Irving Station: from Nursery, continue past Irving Blvd., left on Pioneer, left on O'Connor, left on Rock Island to South Irving Station.
Route 549 southbound to Westmoreland Station: Right on Rock Island, right on Pioneer, right on Nursery to regular route.
