Level Boarding Project Moving to Ledbetter Station on Saturday, Nov. 21 & Sunday, Nov. 22
Construction to prepare all remaining DART Rail station platforms for new Super Light Rail Vehicles will continue at Ledbetter Station. Each station closure will take 1-3 weekends.
Trains will not stop at Ledbetter Station on:
Saturday, Nov. 21, & Sunday, Nov. 22
Saturday, Nov. 28, & Sunday, Nov. 29*
Saturday, Dec. 5, & Sunday, Dec. 6*
(*if necessary)
Saturday, Nov. 21, & Sunday, Nov. 22
Saturday, Nov. 28, & Sunday, Nov. 29*
Saturday, Dec. 5, & Sunday, Dec. 6*
(*if necessary)
Shuttle buses will operate between Ledbetter Station and VA Medical Center Station, where you can board regularly scheduled Blue Line trains.
Signs will be placed at each station the week prior to a closure. If construction does not require all three weekends, the signage will be removed and you may expect normal rail service to resume. Once construction is completed, please be aware of new elevations or "humps" on each platform that will improve access for everyone beginning in December 2010.
